Refund & Warranty Policy

At ThatOnePCguy LLC, we take pride in the quality of our custom PCs, repairs, and consulting services. This Refund and Warranty Policy outlines your rights and responsibilities when it comes to returns, refunds, and warranty coverage.

1. Returns & Refunds

We offer a 25-day return window for eligible items and custom-built PCs.

Return Eligibility:
  • Products must be returned within 25 calendar days of the purchase or delivery date

  • Returned items must be in original condition, with all accessories and components included

  • Custom PCs must not show signs of physical or electrical damage

  • A restocking fee may apply in certain cases

Note: We reserve the right to decline returns on custom PCs that have been significantly altered, damaged, or show signs of misuse.

2. Warranty Coverage

All new custom PC builds from ThatOnePCguy LLC come with a limited 1-year workmanship warranty, which covers:

  • Hardware installation issues

  • Cable management or assembly errors

  • System performance issues caused by improper assembly

What is Not Covered:

The warranty does not cover:

  • Software-related issues (including operating system corruption or misconfiguration)

  • Damage due to viruses, malware, or ransomware

  • Physical damage (e.g., cracked cases, bent pins, liquid damage)

  • Improper handling or user modification

  • Overclocking damage not performed by ThatOnePCguy LLC

  • Normal wear and tear of parts

3. Repairs for Non-Warranty Issues

If damage is found to be caused by the purchaser — including but not limited to software viruses, accidental damage, or misuse — repairs are not covered under warranty.

However, we do offer repair services at an additional cost, and we’re happy to provide a quote upon inspection.

4. Manufacturer Warranties

Individual components (e.g., CPU, GPU, RAM, storage) may be covered by manufacturer warranties. If a part fails outside our 25-day return window but within the manufacturer’s warranty period, we can help you initiate a claim — or you may work directly with the manufacturer.
